• Clean Your Showerhead(s)- Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for properly cleaning your showerhead(s) to remove buildup
• Vacuum Your Refrigerator Coils- get behind your refrigerator and vacuum the coils to get rid of dirt and dust that has accumulated, or hire a professional company to come out to move your refrigerator and clean behind it
• Clean Kitchen Exhaust Hood and Filter- follow the manufacturer’s instructions for how to properly clean your kitchen exhaust hood and filter or hire a professional to come take care of this maintenance. You will probably be using your stove and oven a lot more during the holidays

• Clear Gutters and Downspouts- clear debris from gutter downspouts to make sure water is directed away from your home’s foundation

• Check Your Water Heater- check your water heater for pressure issues and/or leaks. You might want to hire a professional to come out to handle this maintenance item for you
• Clean Your Dishwasher Screen- follow the manufacturer’s instruction on how to clean your dishwasher screen. this helps to get rid of trapped food particles that can block the water flow and affect your dishwasher’s efficiency
• Dehumidify Your Home- keeping your home’s humidity around 30-50% consistently (year-round) can help prevent mold and dust mites from growing in your home
